General information about technical architecture
Introduction
BCdiploma is a SaaS application accessible via a web browser without any additional installation or plugins. All application services provided by BCdiploma are hosted in Azure data centers (SOC 1-2, ISO 27001-2) and rely on managed services, available 24/7.
Hosting
BCdiploma utilizes Microsoft Azure infrastructure to host its applications, your data history, and secure interactions with the blockchain. This combination with BCdiploma technology provides government-level security, certified by Azure data centers worldwide. The scalability of Azure data centers offers flexible resource allocation and access to a wide variety of services, such as Azure Keyvault for cryptographic key management. With infrastructures designed to withstand cyberattacks, high availability and reliability are guaranteed, ensuring data access with high SLAs. Azure managed services ensure automated maintenance and proactive vulnerability monitoring.
Data and application localization
BCdiploma allows its institutional users to determine the geolocation of their data history, applications, and cryptographic key vaults.
BCdiploma has implemented and operates its SaaS solution in the following Azure data centers:
- "Western Europe" (Amsterdam) and "France Central" (Paris) - default location
- "Central US" (Iowa) in the USA - available on request in production
These two operating zones are completely isolated and comply with the EU-US Privacy Shield.
