Administration
Tips
The "Administration" tab and associated features are only accessible to users with an "Administration" profile.
Users and Profiles
You can manage users (addition/modification/deletion) and share access to the BCdiploma application with other members of your organization in the 'Users' section of the administration. By default, when creating a user, they will receive an email confirming their access to the application and their access URL.
Each user is assigned a profile that grants them specific rights within the application. From the most restrictive to the least restrictive: 'Consultation', 'Publication', 'Management' and 'Administration'. The corresponding rights for each profile are indicated in the user addition/modification window.
Organizational Units
Using Organizational Units (OUs) is optional and allows data visibility to be tailored to the organization’s internal structure.
Campaign and certificate visibility
If an OU is assigned to a user, they can only view campaigns carried out by users who share the same OU. If a user has no OU, they have access to all campaigns and certificates within the issuer’s environment.
Template visibility
A template can be associated with zero or more OUs.
- Users with the Administration profile have access to all templates and can manage the OUs assigned to a template.
- Users without an OU have access to all templates.
- Users with an OU only see templates that include their OU; templates with no OU are not visible to them.
Related behaviors
- Creating a template: if the user has an OU, the template automatically inherits that OU.
- Publishing a campaign by a user with an OU: the campaign takes on the publisher’s OU.
- Publishing a campaign by a user without an OU: a OU from the template’s OUs can optionally be selected.
- Publishing via API: an OU from the template’s OUs can optionally be specified.
- Certificate and email searches also respect the user’s OU.
Tags
This tab allows you to manage the tags assigned to certificate templates.
API
API Key Generation
In the API section, copy your API key for interacting with BCdiploma APIs that require authentication.
Warning
Only the latest generated API key will be considered valid when using the APIs. Generating a new key will automatically invalidate the previously generated key.
Several types of API keys are available:
- An administrator API key allows you to perform all operations available on the BCdiploma platform, including administrative operations such as managing users and API keys.
- A management API key allows you to perform all read operations (report retrieval, "directory API", etc.), write operations (certificate publication, etc.), and template management (creation and editing), but does not allow administrative operations.
- A publishing API key allows you to perform all read and write operations.
- A read-only API key allows you to perform read operations only.
Issuer Information and Issuer ID
You can also retrieve your Issuer ID and blockchain address in this section.
